    This restaurant is about 2 blocks from my grandparents' home (that'sonnCambreling Ave). My great-grandpatents bought the house sometime around 1903-1905 & my grandparents aond it in about 1982-1983. This restaurant has been in existence since 1913, so I'm sure my family came by here at one time or other.

    The food was a traditional Italian presentation. The bread with olive oil,  balsamic vinegar and red pepper  dip was great. As was my Frutti di Mar.

    If TOS like a laid back Italian dinner experience,  try this place

    Love the food in this off Arthur Street spot.  Had chicken sorrentino and Riley had the homemade gnocchi and we shared a cold antipasto.  

    Tiramisu and NY cheesecake and coffee for dessert. We will be back for

    We came in not knowing what to expect and we were immediately greeted by friendly Joey!

    We absolutely loved our meals and Joey was the sweetest, happily singing happy birthday, opera style at what seemed like every table.  

    I had the pasta and pollo.  It was different and tasty with bites of chicken breast, swimming in lemon sauce.

    My fiancé had the orecchiette with broccoli rabe.  We added sausage and that made the dish perfecto!  

    On our way out, Joey stopped us to give us warm hugs and complimentary limoncellos.  What an incredibly hospitable man!  

    Don't forget Viv and Will, Joey!

    We had a beautiful date night and it was full of laughter and warm people.  We highly recommend!

    I went here for my sister in law's birthday tonight. This place was really good overall. We ordered caprese salad, clams oreganata, frutta di mare, and nutella pizza.

    Caprese salad- good mozzarella, not overpowering oil.

    Clams oreganata- had big chunk of clam, good ratio of bread to clams. Well worty the money.

    Frutta di mare-good tasting sauce, the pasta was well cooked. The sauce was sweet but not too sweet, tart but not too tart. The seafood was really good. Gave shrimp, mussells, clams. Definitely worth it.

    Really good service, the old man is awesome. Really friendly.

    Nutella pizza- incredibly good. Warm crispy bread, good layer of nutella, nice cold sliced strawberry and sliced bananas with whipped cream.

    Will definitely come back to again.
